A busy week for embedded AI in accounting. Aspire went live with AI bookkeeping and reconciliation baked into its Singapore finance platform. Dext shipped an MCP connector so practices can query their own data through Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot without changing any records. Intuit used its Connect conference to outline a broader AI push across QuickBooks and the Accountant Suite. And a two-year-old startup just closed $45 million on the back of 86x revenue growth doing AI-driven finance automation - which is either a signal or a data point, depending on your disposition.
